In the heart of the Australian desert, a solitary oil rig stands as a testament to human ingenuity and determination. When a catastrophic accident strikes the site, lives are thrown into turmoil, setting two families from opposing worlds on an extraordinary journey across Australia—one that will challenge their beliefs, test their relationships and change them forever.

The Dingy Alley

In the centre of the city,  a glittering skyline forms the backdrop to a neglected dingy alley  inhabited by society’s forgotten people.

 

Amid the decay, Zach finds a sense of belonging. It is here, among the overlooked and unseen, that he reflects on his own search for identity, connection and purpose, revealing the loneliness that lies beneath his public success.

Crocodile River

The Dreamworld of the Crocodile River is a place where reality give way to imagination. Beneath a blazing outback sky, a winding river cuts through ancient country alive with colour, music and movement.

 

Here, towering gum trees whisper old stories, crocodiles dance, spirits roam freely and the ordinary rules of the world no longer apply.

Rising from the rugged wilderness of the Kimberley, towering red cliffs stand as ancient sentinels above winding rivers and endless skies.

 

Carved by time and shaped by the elements, this breathtaking landscape evokes both awe and humility. Vast, untamed and deeply spiritual, the Kimberley becomes a place of reflection and revelation, where old wounds surface, hidden truths emerge and lives are forever changed against one of Australia’s most spectacular natural backdrops.

In a sea of darkness, two isolated pools of light reveal Jay and Zach standing on opposite sides of the stage.

 

Separated by distance, circumstance and the worlds they come from, they face the same question, yet remain strangers to one another.

 

The stark simplicity of the moment strips away everything except the possibility of connection, hinting at a bond that neither of them yet understands.
